Very atmospheric recording of rain and thunder. You can hear some birds and even church bells in the background and some human noises if you listen carefully.
This is the sound of a storm drain emptying into a gutter. My street floods in heavy rain, giving the storm drain a river-like sound. I placed my roland r-05 on the sidewalk just above the drain. It babbles and splashes like a river, but it is on a residential city street. I recorded it at 2am, so there are few vehicles in the recording though several faintly pass by in the background. 4th of june 2016 thunderstorm in pécel, hungary at 5pm recorded by sony icd-ux512 dictaphone. You can hear the rain slowly coming toward us. The storm was also involved with a funnel cloud and a downburst.
